About Rotich T Foundation

Our Mission

The Rotich Foundation is principally committed to promoting education in collaboration with regional experts for K-16 school children within rural areas of Kenya.  We see access to educational technology broadly defined as the cornerstone to achieving this goal.  Therefore, building the infrastructure and employing trained personnel is central to achieve our objectives. The first phase of the Foundation will be to build library/resource centers to accommodate access to information in a knowledge-based environment, including development and construction of local facilities infused with internet-based and hard-copy sources of information and the development and recruitment of highly qualified staff accessible to school students.  Supplying technological equipment such as computers, computer programs, and hot spot internet capabilities will be part of this mix.  Plans for the first operational library/resource center and outreach is planned for Kabarnet, Baringo County, Kenya, on  October 11, 2025.

Our History

Founded in November 2024, The Rotich T Foundation begun building of library/resource centers in December 2024 which is scheduled to be open on October 11, 2025! The Resource Center is located in Salawa, Kabarnet-Soi, Kabarnet Ward in Baringo County.  The Resource Center will be equipped with computers, Internet connectivity and Library resources that will serve AIC Philemon Chelagat Girls High School and the neighboring primary and secondary schools.

The Foundation will be working with local/regional/national funding agencies such Ward and CDF to provide the resources to accomplish its central goal: To promote education and technology in collaboration with regional experts for K-16 school children within rural areas of Kenya.  Funds for the initial phase of construction have been provided.  The Foundation is seeking matching funds for the establishment and development of future centers.
